Which version is the latest, and what is possible and what not?

I've read some topics about Social Groups but they are a few years old, so I don't know what you have implemented or not during the last topic.

So what about copy existing topics in groups? And is it possible now to count the posts inside a group?

And the last question, as always, how many and which files will be changed to install it?

2.5 is the latest version, none of those things you mention are possible in threads, and there are no modifications.
